LUMINARTE, MOUNTBOARD CUT-OUTS AND ME

Spraying the Luminarte Radiant Rain and Perfect Pearl Mists on to the Decor Plates or the Mountboard Cut-Outs is very different to spraying on to blotting paper.
The surface is not absorbent at all, so the sprays pool and create more of a marbled effect.
Below are some Mountboard Cut-Outs sprayed with some of the above ink sprays. The Cut-Outs were dried using a heat gun to speed the process. They were then stamped with some of my new Floral Duet stamp designs. The butterflies and dragonflies were stamped on to inked blotting paper and cut out.

This tag has been inked in the same way, stamped and a flower torn from stamped blotting paper. The fern is from Prima, sprayed with the Luminarte Radiant Rains. Liquid Pearls for the cosmos centre.

LILAC PAINT FUSION

This Decor Plate features Sheena Douglass's Lilac Paint Fusion stamp set and my new Butterflies.

The background was made with alcohol inks with the new white as the top layer.
The leaves and lilac were painted as per Sheena's instructions in the stamp set.
The butterflies were stamped over blotting paper which had been coloured with Luminarte Radiant Rain Mists.
The antennae are artificial flower stamens glued between the Decor Plate and the butterfly body.
The border was stamped with one of my Edger designs.

I am entering this in the Craft a Scene Challenge.

RAINBOW LADY CHALLENGE

This week's Rainbow Lady Challenge is...Let's Get Inky
So I did and here is my DT entry

The card uses one of my new stamp designs...Cosmos Duet and various Luminarte Radiant Rain and Perfect Pearl Mists.

Background
This was a happy accident...I wanted to use the same Cosmos stamp so I stamped it randomly with Versamrk ink over some glossy brown card and embossed it with clear powder.
I wanted a bit of colour and decided to use the Bronze and Copper Perfect Pearl Mists...wow! it gave a stunning result. The photograph doesn't do it justice.
The borders were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and the background mounted on to white card.

The 'centrepiece' is blotting paper sprayed with Luminarte Radiant Rain Mists (pink, blue and turquoise) and then with the Bronze and Copper Perfect Pearl Mists. Dried over a radiator.
The solid Cosmos stamp was embossed with Frantage Shabby Blue powder and the open Cosmos design was stamped with Brilliance Lightning Black ink.
Sprinkles of Frantage Aged Aqua were heated from underneath and Frantage Powder Blue Fragments pressed into the powder (sprinkle Fragments then press with the lid of the pot while powder is hot).
The flower centres were made with Liquid Pearls.

The finished collage piece was then torn around the edge...with blotting paper the edge is coloured as the inks have been absorbed into the paper.
The collage was then mounted on to plain brown card, the edge coloured with a blue metallic Promarker and embellished with small pearls

RAINBOW LADY CHALLENGE

This week's Rainbow Lady Challenge is...'age' (decoupage, invertage etc)
This is my DT entry

This card uses designs from my Poppy Parade Digikit.
The card was created in CraftArtist, 'deconstructed' and the various elements printed on to card and paper. The central flower image was printed 4 times, individual petals cut out and decoupaged uding silicone rubber so they could be positioned to stand out from the flower.
The flower centre was painted with Glossy Accents to make it shiny.
the sparkly border is a peel-off and this was decorated with small black square gemstones.
