Once coloured and dried, the blotting paper can be textured using embossing folders and the Cuttlebug (or similar). I have a lot of Texture Mats so I wondered if they could be used to give texture too.
I placed the wet, coloured blotting paper face down on to the Quilt Texture Mat, and pressed the paper into it. It took a while but the result was great...it would be nice on a card for a new baby.
