SCRAPBOOKING 1

Although my Digikits aren't specifically for Scrapbooking, they can be used to create pages as well as greetings cards.
Here's a page I made using the new Fond Memories Digikit and an old photo of my aunt and mum when they were children...sadly they are not with us now.
You will need a graphics programme such as CAP or MCS to make this page.

This is basically just layering, however one of the papers has been cropped to make a frame for the photo.
The butterflies are from the Butterfly Duets Digikit...the colour changed in CAP.

BUTTERFLY DUETS CARD 5

A fifth card created using the Butterfly Duets Digikit

The card was created in CraftArtist, then 'deconstructed' and put together manually.
The peach floral paper was layered on to the brown and red papers as shown and 2 edges punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.
The background for the topper was the plain peach paper printed on to card and 'swished' with white Picket Fence Distress Stain. A border was made by dipping the edges into Eygptian Gold Luminarte Radiant Rain.
The floral butterfly was printed on to vellum and the flower centres dry embossed...if I made this again I would stick tiny black or brown gemstones in each centre.
The edges of the brown paper border were stamped with the small oriental flower design from CaroLines
Oriental Die Sheet (unmounted rubber stamps). which will be available on the new website...coming soon!!!

BUTTERFLY DUETS CARD 4

Another card using designs from the Butterfly Duets Digikit

Once again, this card was created in CraftArtist, then 'deconstructed' and assembled manually. By doing this you ensure that all the elements are the correct size.
The butterfly was printed on vellum and the flowers dry embossed as in parchment carft.

1. The backing paper was printed on to good quality paper and mounted on to brown card.
2. The 'topper' was made using the brown backing paper and positioning the borders as shown. Another
backing paper with a yellow border was positioned in the top left hand corner. These were then
printed on to card and mounted on the background using double sided sticky pads.
3. Lastly, the butterfly was printed on to vellum and the flowers dry embossed. Just a line is sufficient for
each petal. A tiny dab of gold glitter glue was put in the centre of each flower.
4. The butterfly was then cut out and the body glued to the card.

BUTTERFLY DUETS CARD 3

A card created using the new Butterfly Duets digikit

This card features the third Butterfly Duet.
Once again CraftArtist was used to make the card. Then the card was 'deconstructed', printed on to paper and card and made up manually.
This time the butterfly was printed on acetate and stuck to a glitter paper using double sided stick paper.

1. The backing paper with brown border was printed on to paper.
2. The butterfly frame can be split apart and the bits can be used to create another frame.

3. The message was typed in CA inside the frame and the cream rectangle with frames and message
    printed on to card.
4. The butterfly was printed on to acetate, fized to double sided sticky paper and then to glitter paper. Cut
    butterfly out at this stage.
5. The layers were built up to create the card and the butterfly stuck at one end of the frame.
6. Pearl gemstones were used to embellish the frame.
