SCRAPBOOKING 1

Although my Digikits aren't specifically for Scrapbooking, they can be used to create pages as well as greetings cards.
Here's a page I made using the new Fond Memories Digikit and an old photo of my aunt and mum when they were children...sadly they are not with us now.
You will need a graphics programme such as CAP or MCS to make this page.

This is basically just layering, however one of the papers has been cropped to make a frame for the photo.
The butterflies are from the Butterfly Duets Digikit...the colour changed in CAP.

FOND MEMORIES 5

Today's cards show one of the toppers being used more than once and a background paper being 'cut' up.

The topper T2 has been imported into CAP, copied and flipped horizontally and grouped. Then the 2 grouped toppers copied and flipped vertically, and all four together make another topper.
If creating the card by hand, the clematis flower could be printed on to card, cut out and decoupaged in the centre of the topper.

In this card the background P8 had been cropped 4 separate times to divide the paper into panels. Then a topper positioned in the centre. If created manually, the panels could be raised with dsspads as well as the topper.

This card has been made from two toppers and a plain background paper.
The toppers used are T3 and T4.

Fond Memories 3

Two more arrangements of images from the Fond Memories Digikit
In these cards, the topper is placed off centre instead of the centre of the design.

The vertical and horizontal borders have been made by cropping paper P5, resizing and rotating to fit in the design.

In this arrangement one of the toppers has been resized to create some embellishments...you could turn them into buttons by adding 2 black circles (made in CAP) and positioning them in each topper.

Once again these designs could be printed on to good quality card as they are, or the individual elements could be printed and then put together manually.

New Digikit 2

A couple of simple layered cards using the new Fond Memories Digikit
You will need a graphics programme such as CAP or MCS to use the kit

These cards have been created in CAP using papers and toppers from the kit.
There are 4 plain coloured papers....it may seem like cheating to include these in a Digikit, I bought a CD once that had lots of plain colour backgrounds, but it mean that all the colours in the kit are then consistent and they are useful to use to create frames for your designs.

You could print the designs as they are on to good quality card or 'deconstruct' each layer and matt and layer manually to get more depth to the greetings card. Of course a liberal lashing of glitter and embellishments would be nice whichever way you produce the card.
