NEW LILY DUET

Samples made with the new Lily Duet stamps.
Each of the Floral Duets has an open design and a solid design.

Here the solid lily design has been embossed with Stampendous Aged Wine embossing powder.
The 'veins' have been coloured with a lilac pen. The centre is one of the new Liquid Pearl colours and a small pearl.

The open lily design was stamped on to blotting paper, cut out and then coloured with Radiant Rain Shimmering Mists applied with a paintbrush. The flower sprayed with water before colouring.

The was stamped and embossed with Stampendous Aged Ochre powder, cut out and again coloured with Shimmering Mists applied with a brush. Galaxy Gold Brilliance ink was then brushed on to the petals (not very clear in photo)

This time a piec of blotting paper was sprayed with Shimmering Mists and Perfect Pearl inks. WHen the paper had dried the open lily design was embossed with Aged Wine powder. A touch of yellow was brushed into the centre of the lily and then Liquid Pearls and a pearl were added.

This is a cover page for a book or an Art Journal page.
An 8 ins. x 8 ins. piece of blotting paper was sprayed with water and then various Shimmering Mist colours.
It was then sprayed with Perfect Pearls mist to 'tone' it down.
When the paper had dried, the solid lily was stamped around the edge with Pearlescent Lavender Brilliance ink. The open lily was stamped and embossed with Aged Wine powder and then coloured carefully with one of the Mists.
Shabby White embossing powder (Stampendous) was then sprinkled in patches over the page and heated to emboss (heat from underneath the paper).
The edge of the paper was torn (with blotting paper the torn edge is coloured) and mounted on to card.
Lasly the centres of the lilies were embellished with Liquid Pearls.
