CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

This week's CD Sunday Challenge is...On the beach
This is my entry


This uses images and a paper from Debbi Moore's CD Shabby Chic Seaside.
Made in CAP2... a bit of cutting out and some subtle colouring of the girls top and the bucket and spade.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 8

Sample card 8 made using the new Royal Sunset Lily Digital Kit.
You will need a graphics programme such as Serif CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Uses paper P9, butterfly B1, topper t1 and lily L1

1. Create a dark brown square as a background for paper P9. 
2. Import paper P9, re-size and position over the brown square leaving a small border. Send to the bar on the left ( Craft Artist).
3. Import the topper t1. Open Photolab (CAP2) and select Distort and then Kaleidoscope.
4. Slide the top bar until there are about 7 petals and slide the bottom bar until you get a nice pattern.
5. Go to Blur...Zoom and slide the bar all the way to the right. Click OK to take it to the work space.
6. Punch a square from the design.
7. Position this in the centre of the background.
8. Import topper t1 again, re-size and place it in the centre of the design.
9. Import the butterfly, re-size and rotate and position it in one of the bottom corners of the central square.
10.  Copy, paste and flip this horizontally and place in the opposite corner. Group, copy , paste and flip vertically and place at the top of the design as illustrated.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 7

Sample card 7 made using the new Royal Sunset Lily Digital Kit.
You will need a graphics programme such as Serif CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Uses paper P10, topper t4 and lily L4

1. Create a dark brown square in your graphics programme.
2. Import paper P10, re-size and position inside the brown background.
3. Import topper t4, re-size and position in the centre of the design.
4. Go to transform (if using CAP2) and enter settings: rotation 10.00, copies 5, and X and Y offsets 0.00.
5. Import lily L4 re-size, rotate and position as illustrated partly overlapping one corner of the topper.
6. Copy and paste the lily, flip horizontally and vertically and position over the opposite corner.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 6

Sample card 6 made using the new Royal Sunset Lily Digital Kit.
You will need a graphics programme such as Serif CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Uses Papers P1, P7, and P13, frame fr1 and lily L1

1. Import papers P1 and P7. Re-size each to about a quarter of  their original size. Make sure they are both the same size.
2. Position one next to the other. Copy, paste and position as illustrated and group.
3. Create a dark brown square, place it behind the patterned papers with a small border. Send to the task bar.
4. Import paper P13 and frame fr1. Create a white square the same size as the paper and position it behind it. Alter the transparency of the paper so it is paler than the original
and group them together.
5. Re-size and place the paper behind the frame and group..
6. Bring the paper squares from the task bar. Re-size the frame and position in the centre of the card.
7. Import the lily, re-size and place it in the centre of the frame.
8. Apply the decoupage tool in the graphics programme...3 or 4 layers.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 5

Sample card 5 made using the new Royal Sunset Lily Digital Kit
You will need a graphics programme such as Serif CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Uses papers P10 and P15 , topper t5 and lily L4

1. Import paper P15.
2. Create a dark brown square, re-size and position it behind the paper. Group.
3. Import paper P10 and rotate it to 45 degrees. Re-size and position it in the centre of the design so that
it overlaps into the border slightly.
4. Import topper t5, re-size and place it in the centre of the arrangement.
5. Import lily L4, re-size, rotate and position it in the top left corner of the card so it slightly overlaps  the topper.
6. Copy the lily, paste and flip horizontally and vertically and place in the bottom right corner, slightly overlapping the topper.

You will need a graphics programme such as Serif CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Quick and simple again.
Uses paper P6, Lily L1 and topper t3

1. Import the paper into your graphics programme.
2. Create a dark brown square, position behind the paper and re-size so there is a small border.
3. Import the topper, re-size and position in the centre of the paper.
4. Import the lily, re-size and place it over the top left corner of the topper. Copy and flip horizontally
    and position it over the bottom right hand corner.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 3

You will need a graphics programme such as CraftArtist ot my Craft Studio.


Uses papers P1 and p17, and topper t1

1. Import p17 into your graphics programme.
2. Use the scissor cut feature to cut the paper at the top and the bottom (pattern is your choice).
3. Import P1, re-size and position behind the cut P1. Group.
4. Create a dark brown square and position behind the 2 papers.
5. Import the topper t1, re-size and position to the bottom right side of the card...add a drop shadow if you
    wish.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 2

Second sample card using our new Royal Sunset LilyDigital Kit
You will need a graphics programme such as CraftArtist or My Craft Studio.


Another simple card:
Uses frame fr4, Paper P17 and Lily L1

1. Create a dark brown square in your graphics programme.
2. Import the frame, re-size and position inside the brown square.
3. Import the paper, re-size and position inside the frame.
4. Import the lily, re-size and position over the lily on the paper. Make it larger so it overlaps the frame.
5. Use the drop shadow feature in your graphics programme to give the lily a 3D effect.

ROYAL SUNSET LILY Card 1

This is the first of a number of sample cards using the new Royal Sunset Lily Digital Kit
You will need a graphics programme such as CraftArtist 2 or My Craft Studio.


This card uses L1 (one of the lilies), P7 (a paper) and t2 (one of the toppers).
It is very simple to put together:
1. Create a dark brown square in your graphics programme, import the paper, P7, and place over the square.
2. Re-size to have a small dark brown border around the paper.
3. Import, re-size and place the topper to the left side of the background.
4. Import, re-size the lily and position at the bottom of the design.
5. Choose a font, type your message and position and re-size if necessary to the top right.

This card uses papers and images from Debbi Moore's Shabby Chic Travel CD.
Created in CAP2 using the decoupage and drop shadow features, and also one of the brushes for the rope border.
